About us

Our History

Once upon a time, a bunch of inquisitive students used to stroll over the crimson red cladded college campus, to perch upon green lawns and make a keen circle. This keen circle would deliver, discuss, delve and debate on all concurrent socio – political issues to satiate their desire for knowledge. On the go, they implicitly grasped the power of knowledge sharing and the sense of social awakening. The circle’s radius grew little by little as the students became graduates and dispersed to different corners of the globe.

Now, social media served as those ‘green lawns’ to ‘perch upon’ for the ‘keen minds’ and they endured their knowledge sharing pursuit. With the disheartening demise of the ‘Missile Man’ Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, they christened themselves as the ‘Ignited Minds’ with a resolve to live his dreams and subsequently launched the website, ‘IMoT Forum’ on January 12, 2017, the National Youth Day.

That’s how we have come into being,

To spread the spirit of knowledge sharing,

By our very own way of igniting!
